MACROSTIE
MacRostie Winery & Vineyards is one of the Sonoma Coast’s defining wineries. Their Estate House, which opened in 2015, marked a new chapter for the brand, launching them into the DTC world. To support the entry into this new market, the brand needed a clear, concise, and compelling story. MacRostie’s updated Brand DNA became a roadmap, which guided a strategic creative refresh, new vineyard naming, and art direction for updated photography and a new website.

Nightwing
There are over 200 species of birds native to the Sonoma region, and many migrate in huge flocks at night. While we serve as caretakers of the vineyards by day, the name Nightwing is an ode to the indigenous creatures who watch over the land after dark, including the majestic Night Heron. It’s also a tribute to one of the “founding fathers” of this property, 2nd generation owner Vernon Morelli--a World War II pilot who built a landing strip on the vineyard that sits above one of the Chardonnay blocks.
